Long Beach Museum of Art Exhibit
If you haven't already been, come down to the Long Beach Museum of Art to see my painting Cul-de-sac House At Sunset in their current exhibition. This show comes down August 12th, so catch it while you can. And while you're there, be sure to see the other stellar exhibit up now, Buena Vista: California Painters In Mexico. Hi Danny...we just got back from the Long Beach Museum of Art, where I was fortunate enough to get a nice long look at this painting in real life. I was very impressed - congratulations! It was a learning experience for me; I liked how you had a faint red "halo" around your street shadows to soften the transition, and the distant foliage on the big tree was a dark lavender, which was unexpected, but really worked! Anyway, looking forward to seeing more of your excellent work in future shows.
