The Beginning of A Painting

So here's a little glimpse of the beginning of a painting.  I'm trying out some new things here - this is an acrylic painting of an old Dodge that I'm doing on a small wood panel.  I like the natural wood grain, so I'm going to leave a lot of it showing.  I'm also rediscovering the pluses and minuses of working in acrylic.  Stay tuned for the final image...

Twin Palms Landscape

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure to sit down with world famous architect and friend, William Krisel.  Partnering with architect Dan Palmer, William helped shaped much of the landscape of Palm Springs while working for the Alexander Company.  Now retired, William continues to advise on projects and renovations, including this house of which he designed the stunning landscaping.

TWA Terminal Drawing

So I rarely show drawings that I do, but I finished this piece as a preparatory sketch for a painting I unveiled last month.  This is TWA Terminal, graphite on paper, 18x24", and is $900 unframed.  Please let me know if you are interested in this piece or just drop me a line and let me know what you think.
